Our items-- ranging from handbags to clothing to shoes-- feature the hottest current trends and are always offered to you at significant discounts. With its wide selection, amazing value, helpful service, and unbeatable convenience, Style Empire strives to be your favorite store for designer fashion. Where are you located? Style Empire is located in New York. Do you charge sales tax? We only charge sales tax for New York State residents. How much do you charge for shipping? At Style Empire, standard shipping to anywhere in the Continental United States costs only $10.00 per order. Additional charges apply if your order must be shipped outside of the United States and/or if you desire an expedited form of shipping. See our Shipping section for more information. Do you ship to my country? To view a list of the countries to which we can currently ship, please consult our International Orders chart, located in the Shipping section. Why are your products priced lower than those on other websites? Our products are priced lower than those on other websites because we do not believe that customers should have to pay too much for designer merchandise. In many instances, our goods have been purchased from reputable resellers at discounted rates. This, in turn, allows us to pass the savings on to you. Why are there no pictures for certain products? At Style Empire, we are constantly updating our website. Many times, we will add a product before the product image is available. We will then upload the image as soon as it is available. Please continue to visit our website as often as possible to view the new product listings and pictures. Contact us with any further questions, comments, requests, or concerns. What is the “retail value” price of an item? The “retail value” of a product refers to the price at which an item may be offered on a regular basis in the United States or in other countries. The retail value price is estimated by our buyers, who calculate it before any discounts, sales, or promotions. To calculate the retail value, our buyers sometimes rely upon information that has been supplied by our vendors. Since we sell a large inventory of products, we cannot guarantee that any particular item is being sold at the listed retail value, in any place at any time. The product may or may not have been sold at the listed retail price. Do you have a print catalog? Style Empire does not have a print catalog. Our entire inventory is on our website. Due to the fact that our inventory is constantly changing, a print catalog would not be as up-to-date as our website. Our online catalog allows us to make constant changes to our look and selection. It also helps prevent back orders of items and keeps customer satisfaction levels higher than a print catalog would. Do you sell gift certificates? Yes, we sell gift certificates for any value. To order a gift certificate, email us at info@styleempire.com with a requested amount, and we will send you further ordering instructions. What do I need to know about promotions? “Promotions” refers to discounts and promotional codes offered by Style Empire. Promotions are valid only for online purchases of merchandise, during the specified time period. Each promotion may only be used once unless otherwise stated.
  • A one-time use promotion must be used entirely in one purchase. Any amount left over on the promotion will be forfeited. Promotions cannot be combined with other promotions.
  • Promotions do not apply to gift certificates, shipping, or taxes (if applicable).
  • Promotions cannot be applied to previously placed orders.
  • Free shipping promotions are valid for U.S. standard ground shipping within the Continental United States.
  • Shipping charges, taxes (if applicable), and credits from gift certificates do not count towards the minimum order size requirement that a promotion may have.
  • If the promotion states that you must buy one or more items to receive a discount on an additional item, the lower priced item will receive the discount.
  • If you used a promotion on an order and later returned any or all of the merchandise, you will be issued a credit that reflects the promotional price. If the promotion has expired, you cannot use it on another order.
  • Promotional items are available only while supplies last. We cannot issue credits or compensation for promotional items that run out of stock.
  • Style Empire has the right to extend or terminate a promotion at any time, at its discretion.

Shopping, Ordering, and Account Questions

How do I place an order on Style Empire? To place an order over our website, simply browse the many items that we have available and decide which items you want to buy. If you want to purchase an item, you can add it to your shopping bag by clicking on the “Add to Shopping Bag” button located next to the product you are interested in. Once you are finished shopping, click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button located inside your shopping bag. The “Shopping Bag” link is at the top right corner of our website. You will then be directed through the checkout process, where you will have to enter your billing and shipping information. After you submit your order, you will receive an email notification and we will begin processing your order. How do I shop by designer? To shop by designer, simply click on the link to the department (e.g. Women, Men, Clearance) that you wish to explore. These links are located at the top of each page. On the left side of the page, you will see a list of all the available designers, under the heading “Refine by Manufacturer.” Click on any designer's name to view all the items from the selected designer that are available in that department. I put something in my shopping bag, but it's not there anymore-- why? There are two possibilities as to why the item disappeared. First, if you do not have a Style Empire account, and if you leave the website after adding items to your shopping bag, then the items will no longer be there when you come back. In order to freely visit and leave the website without losing the contents of your shopping bag, you must be logged into your account. The other possibility is that in the time from when you added the item to your shopping bag to now, someone else purchased the item and it is now out-of-stock. For this reason, we suggest that you buy an item that you like as soon as you see it-- it may be gone before you know it! I've already placed my order-- is it too late to change or cancel it? An order can be changed or canceled only if it is still being processed. Orders that have finished being processed or that have already shipped cannot be changed or canceled (NOTE: If your order has shipped before you change or cancel it, Style Empire is not responsible for shipping costs). In order to change your order, you must cancel the existing order and then place a new one. Please contact us for instructions on how to change or cancel your order. Why are certain products out of stock? Designer products are difficult to obtain, and many styles and versions are available for limited amounts of time and in limited quantities. We keep an accurate count of our entire inventory to minimize back orders and to keep shopping with us fast and convenient. Many of our products are restocked on a regular basis, but the exclusive items are typically available for very short periods of time. If you found something on our website that you really like, we recommend that you buy it before it goes out of stock and is not available again. Will you be ordering more out-of-stock items? Many of our out-of-stock items will be replenished. The exclusive products that we carry, however, are usually available for very short periods of time. When these exclusive products go out of stock, they are usually discontinued or replaced by different styles and versions. How often do you update your inventory? We add new products to our website on a regular basis. Every week, perhaps even everyday, you will see that something has changed on our website. We do this to ensure that you will always find the latest and most stylish merchandise at Style Empire. Can I order by phone or fax? Yes, you can order by phone. A fax number is not currently available. To view our phone numbers, please visit the Contact Us help section. What forms of payment do you accept? At Style Empire, we accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as cashier's checks and money orders. How long will it take to receive my order? At Style Empire, it normally takes 1-2 business days for your order to be approved, packaged, and prepared for shipment. With standard shipping (USPS Priority), it should take an additional 5-7 days for the order to arrive at your address. Overall, therefore, it will usually take between 6 and 9 business days for you to receive your order. How do I use a promotional code? To use a promotional code, simply type in the code when you are asked for it during checkout. I am a first time customer; can I receive a discount on my first order? Yes-- just enter promotion code "empire212" during checkout to save 15% off your entire order. I am a returning customer; can I receive a discount on my next order? Yes-- just enter promotion code "welcomeback" during checkout to save 15% on your next order. When is my credit card charged during the order process? Style Empire will not charge your credit card until your order has been shipped. After your order is placed, we will approve your billing information and authorize your card to be charged once it is shipped. If I order an item that is out of stock, will I be charged? Will I receive my order? At Style Empire, we make sure that our inventory is always 100% accurate in order to prevent back order situations. This is why you will see that certain items will sometimes be out of stock on our website. Some websites will immediately charge your credit card when you purchase an item that they do not even have in stock. On the other hand, if you order an out-of-stock item at Style Empire, your order will automatically be placed in our back order section. Once the item you ordered comes back in stock, we will ship your order and then charge your credit card. How do I register with StyleEmpire.com? To register with Club Empire, click on the registration link on the bottom left corner of our website. You will then be brought to the registration page, where you will have to enter your name, email address, password, and password hint. When you click “Continue”, you will be logged into your account. You can then shop our website or access your account by clicking on the “My Account” link at the top right corner of our site. How do I log into my account? To log into your Style Empire account, click on the “My Account” link on the top right corner of our website. You will be brought to the Log In page, where you will have to enter your email address and password. After you enter this information, click on “Continue” and you will be brought to your main account page. What should I do if I've lost or forgotten my password? If you have forgotten or lost your password, you may reset your password. To do this, click on the “My Account” link on the top right corner of our website. Once you are brought to the Log In page, click on the “Password Forgotten?” link. You will then be brought to a page where you will have to enter your email address. For further help, please contact us. What should I do if I've changed my email address? What if I want to update my personal information? If you've changed your email address and would like Style Empire to send emails to your new address, you must first log into your account. Once you are logged in, you will be at the “My Account” homepage. Click on the “View or change my account information” link. From here, you can change your name, email address, telephone number, and/or fax number. To update your mailing address(es), click on the “View or change entries in my address book” link on the “My Account” homepage. To change your account password, click on the “Change my account password” link on the “My Account” homepage.


Returning and Exchanging Questions

What is your return policy? If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item(s) in original, unused condition, along with all original tags and packaging, within 100 days for a full refund (excluding shipping costs). Where do I send returned items? Please see our Returns help section for instructions on how to return an item. How do I process an exchange? Because Style Empire strives to offer the best possible value to its customers, we may not always carry large quantities of our products, and it may not be possible to offer them in every size. It is for this reason that we unfortunately cannot offer exchanges. If it turns out that you would like a different item or a different size, please return the merchandise and place a new order. SSL encrypts your information, ensuring that no one will see it other than you and Style Empire. Is my personal information kept private when ordering from Style Empire? At Style Empire, we use some of the most sophisticated security software that is available to ensure that shopping with us is safe and secure. Your personal information is completely safe with us, as we have taken the steps to employ the best technology available. What do you do with my personal information after my order has been placed? Your information is used to process your orders and personalize your shopping experience on Style Empire, for internal purposes and to comply with legal requirements. By storing your personal information on our secure server, Style Empire is able to shorten your checkout process and allow you to check your order status online. Is it safer to order from your website or from other websites that sell the same products? At Style Empire, we use some of the most sophisticated security software that is available to ensure that shopping with us is safe and secure.
